Guild Name: Nemo Nisi Mors
Meaning: Until Death Does Us Part
What are we about?:
Nemo Nisi Mors is a raiding guild. We have a set raiding schedule and we pre-plan raids using our Raid Tool. Our members generally know 24 hours in advance whether or not they are in the line-up for a raid, so they can plan their evening accordingly and don't show up for nothing.
Our members enjoy all sorts of playstyles, from Raids/PvE to PvP BG's or Arena. The experience level from our members ranges wildly.
Our main focus is to ensure all members have a good laugh with each other, while at the same time not losing focus of PvE progress. Our members have very wide backgrounds, are from completely different nationalities, have different levels of experience but have the same goal: To enjoy themselves and work as a unity towards higher content.
Guild Rules and Requirements:
Generally, we are very flexible and tolerant. We do have a few rules and requirements, but these all fall into the 'common-sense' category.
Please be aware of our Guild Rules and Requirements before applying for membership.
Activities:
Our current activities are mainly focused around raiding and PvE progress, please visit the front page of the portal to find out the latest in terms of our progress.
Our current raid nights and times are;
Friday: 20.15 - 24.00
Sunday: 19.00 - 24.00
Tuesday: 20.15 - 24.00
All times are Gametime.
Outside regular raid nights we also have a lot of active PvP, both in terms of Battlegrounds as well as Arena.
It must be noted that we are not a charity, that we do not like people who take advantage and that we expect people to pull their weight. This means acquiring decent gear outside guild events, enchanting your gear, getting food buffs, pots, bandages, elixirs, etc.

How to Apply
In order to apply for membership, please use our official membership application form.
Please note that we understand that age can be a sensitive topic to some people. You can suffice answering this question with one of the following answers if you prefer:
16-19
20-25
26-30
30+
Similar, if providing a city + country as Location makes you uncomfortable, please provide just the country.
As for first name, if this makes you uncomfortable we would suggest a different guild. We expect members to become friends and to be able to speak with one another on a first name basis. _________________ Guild Leader

|
|
Requirements:
- Level 70
- Mature
- Team-player
- Willing to Respec (Off-Spec Loot Provided on an ongoing basis.)
- Quick Learner
- Able to Adapt
- Understandable English both written as well as on Ventrilo.
We offer:
- PvE Progress
- Spec/Gear Advice
- A friendly, warm atmosphere
- Long term friendships
Trial Membership
To remove some confusion; All accepted applicants will enter a trial membership which will usually last a month, though we might extend this as we see fit.
The trial membership period is used to evaluate whether or not you fit into our guild and share the same beliefs and goals as we do. During your trial period you can be removed from the guild without a warning if you would misbehave or cause our guild a bad name.
There are a few noticeable differences between trial members and full members, including but not being limited to the following;
- Full Members have priority over loot, regardless of the individual Priority Ratings.*
- New trial members will usually start on the lowest possible raid, and once they prove themselves work their way into 'better' raids. It is up to the individual how fast or slow this goes, your progress will match the effort put in.
- In terms of Raid Spots, again Full Members have priority, with the exception of Friday raids which are specifically designed to evaluate trial members, train people and gear alts and new people.
- Mistakes are human and nobody will fail you for doing something silly. We do however expect people to learn from their mistakes and not make them twice. If you do not understand an encounter it is better to say so then to pretend you do and cause a wipe as a result.
- Trial Members are expected to sign up for as many raids as they can, regardless whether or not they think they probably wont be chosen for the bigger raids anyway. If you don't sign up, you *can't* be chosen and you never know when we decide to evaluate you for the real work.
- Trial Members earn Effort Points (which determine their Priority Rating - this is explained in the private section of our forums) at the same rate as Full Members and their Priority Rating goes in effect as soon as they pass trial. If you therefore get no loot at all during your trial, but you make several raids, you undoubtedly end up at the top of the food chain when you pass your trial, and your hard work will pay off.
*Obviously we are not going to hand out epics like Christmas gifts if the individual might not be in our guild long-term. Due to the way we structure our raid days, in practice this doesn't matter too much and most trial members receive several epics during their trial period. Raid Leaders have the final call in deciding which trial member receives loot. _________________ Guild Leader
